Meet the Team

Stephanie

Stephanie O’Donoghue

Principal/Owner

Stephanie began her career in Foodservice in 1996 when she joined InterMetro as an Office Manager and Inside Sales Coordinator. She subsequently accepted a position as a Territory Manager and from there consistently earned top sales honors. Over time, both customers and peers alike, encouraged her to enter the Manufacturer Representative community, and as a result she ultimately founded Rep Concepts in 2010. Her expertise, vision, and key customer relationships have been instrumental in leading the company in the support of its clients and the factories it represents. Stephanie has served as a Board Member of AHF (Association of Healthcare Foodservice); is a member of MAFSI (Manufacturers Agents for the Foodservice Industry); and is a member of ILSNA (Illinois School Nutrition Association). She is a graduate of the University of St. Francis and has earned CFSP Level III and is ServSafe Certified.

Fun Fact: I competed in a National Collegiate Dance Competition that was televised on ESPN.

Bill O’Donoghue

Co-Principal

Bill is a Foodservice Industry veteran having spent 27 years with InterMetro Industries (17 years as its Vice President of Sales). Prior to that he served for almost a decade as a National Account Manager for one to the largest Foodservice dealers in the country. Bill’s vast knowledge of the Commercial Foodservice business makes him uniquely qualified in assisting Rep Concepts in the support of its clients and the markets that it serves. Bill has served on various NAFEM committees, as well as served as a member of various Dealer/Vendor liaison committees throughout the years. Bill is a graduate of Marquette University and has earned CFSP Level I and is ServSafe Certified.

Fun Fact: I can saddle and bridle a horse while blindfolded….of course you have to lead me to the horse!

Demi Smith

Key Account Manager

 

Demi brings significant experience to her role as Key Account Manager for Rep Concepts. Having held leadership roles with high profile restaurant groups, like 4 Star Hospitality and Darden, she utilizes her comprehensive perspective to help identify solutions to the every-day challenges of the foodservice operator, and helps deliver mutually beneficial outcomes to the hospitality business that we collectively support. Her ability for creating customer satisfaction significantly benefits her in helping forge strategic relationships, and also helps ensure effective and consistent delivery of value propositions to our key customers.

Demi holds a degree in Hospitality Business from the Eli Broad College of Hospitality Business at Michigan State University. She is Serv Safe Certified and has a certification in Sanitation from the City of Chicago.

Fun Fact: I can sing the happy birthday song in Polish: Sto Lat!

 

Chef Jamie Shahayt

Corporate Chef

Chef Jamie’s passion for food and hospitality began at a very early age, helping prepare and serve elaborate meals to friends and family. She is a highly experienced and qualified culinarian, who holds degrees in Culinary Arts, as well as Pastry Arts. She has worked elbow to elbow with Michelin Star Chefs, as well as leading and mentoring kitchen teams in their endeavor to achieve culinary excellence. She has generously shared her knowledge and experience while conducting classes and seminars at venues throughout Chicago, including the College of DuPage, Sur La Table, and For the Love of Chocolate Foundation.

As Corporate Chef for Rep Concepts, Jamie will leverage her foodservice acumen to help provide a wide range of concepts, solutions, and guidance to our distribution partners, as well as to our end use clients, that we mutually serve. Chef Jamie is a Certified Foodservice Manager and ServSafe Certified.

When not in the kitchen, Jamie lives in Naperville and enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.

 

Phil

Phil Tondelli

Vice President – Business Development

Phil comes to Rep Concepts with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the foodservice equipment and supply industry. He has spent the majority of his professional career managing National Account Business Development for companies like Edward Don, Prince Castle, Keating of Chicago, Hatco Corporation and Franklin Machine Products. Phil is NAFEM certified CFSP Level 1. He served on the NAFEM/FCSI Liaison and Sales & Marketing Committee Chair. He was awarded the NAFEM high honor of Honorary Doctorate of Foodservice.

Working with the Dealer Distributors, Consultants, National Accounts, Manufacturers and End Users, Phil has the total experience qualifications to support the Rep Concepts clients.

Phil is a graduate of Elmhurst University where he was Co-Captain of Football and a Dean’s List achiever.

Fun Fact: I am from a family of 11 children! I was elected into the 16” Softball Hall of Fame!

Cassandra (Cassie) Finefield

Customer Service/Inside Sales Support

Cassie is responsible for handling a wide range of customer service and sales support functions, as well as helping manage our quote/order work flow and factory/customer interface. Prior to joining Rep Concepts, Cassie was responsible for managing office staff functions and vendor interface at BMW USA Regional Headquarters. Cassie’s skills are invaluable in helping the company meet its objectives, while at the same time assisting in the support of our internal and external clients. Cassie is a graduate of Northern Illinois University with a B.S. in Communication.

Fun Fact: I ran the Disney Coast to Coast challenge in 2014 when I ran both a half marathon in both Florida and California in the same calendar year.

Robin Janiak

Customer Service/Inside Sales Support

Robin is responsible for Customer Service and Inside Sales Support and handles a wide range of customer service and sales support functions, as well as helps manage our quote/order work flow and factory/customer interface. Prior to joining Rep Concepts, Robin served in a procurement role in commercial building products distribution which provided her with invaluable experience relative to business to business fulfillment. This background helps better support our clients and their multi-dimensional needs.

Fun Fact: In 1997 I entered a Poetry contest and while I didn’t win, I was given the Editor’s Choice Award and published in a book called A Prism of Thoughts.
